Training for Miami

Miami is where the school is based and where most of our students live. It is also a city with its own particular set of realities: there is no jacket season, a large share of the population thinks in Spanish, and the difference between a safe neighborhood and a rough one can be four blocks.

All of that shapes how we teach. Concealment under a t-shirt rather than a coat. Instruction in the language you actually think in. Training outdoors in real heat rather than an air-conditioned bay.

Where Your Training Happens

The Homestead Training Center — the outdoor range where all of our courses are held, roughly a 45-minute drive south, traffic depending from Miami. Beginner through advanced pistol, tactical carbine, low-light, ladies-only and private sessions run 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. More about the range.

Bring your own firearm. We do not rent firearms — every student supplies their own firearm and ammunition. If you have not bought one yet, call before you book and we will talk through what to look for.

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you want to learn to shoot: the $175 first-time shooter class. No experience needed — bring your own firearm.

If you already own a firearm and have never trained with it: defensive pistol training, $200.

Still unsure? Call and describe what you want to be able to do. We will tell you which class you actually need, not the most expensive one.
