Why Hialeah Students Take This Course

Private sessions are the right answer for a lot of our Hialeah students for a simple reason: shift work. If you cannot commit to a fixed class time, this is scheduled entirely around you — weekdays, evenings, whatever your rotation allows. Available in Spanish.

Hialeah is one of the most Spanish-speaking cities in the United States, and a large share of our Hialeah students train in Spanish. That is not an accommodation we bolt on; it is simply how a lot of our classes run.

Students here drive south to the Homestead Training Center for range work, and a lot of them make it a habit rather than a one-off — which is what actually builds skill.

What the Course Covers

  • Whatever you actually need — the session is built with you beforehand
  • Safe handling, storage, and the four universal safety rules
  • Grip, stance, sight picture, trigger control
  • Draw from the holster and from concealment
  • Tactical and speed reloads
  • Malfunction clearing under stress
  • Shooting on the move and using cover
  • Dry-fire practice you can continue safely at home

Where and When

Homestead Training Center · Typically 2–4 hours.

From Hialeah it is about a 40-minute drive south. Give yourself margin: classes start on time and the safety briefing is not something you can join halfway through.

We train outdoors deliberately. An outdoor range lets us teach drawing from a holster, moving between positions, shooting from behind cover, and working after dark — almost no indoor range in Miami-Dade permits any of it. More about the range.

Bring your own firearm and ammunition — we do not rent firearms. If you have not bought one yet, call before you book and we will talk through what to look for.

What to Bring

  • Holster and extra magazines
  • A proper belt (mandatory)

Can my spouse or a friend train with me?
Yes. Couples and small family groups are a very common request and ratios stay small enough that everyone gets real coaching time.
